Steps to Apply

Steps to Apply

WELCOME TO GENERATIONS COLLEGE. YOUR FUTURE STARTS HERE.

Our admission counselors are ready to help you complete the application process quickly and easily. The following process is for all incoming students, whether new to college or transferring from another institution. Follow these simple steps to become a Generations student.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS

Get started in two easy steps:

Step 1: Complete the Generations College application form provided by the Admissions Office or available here and submit it in-person during an Information Session or during a meeting with one of our admissions counselors. You are also able to register completely online, simply click here

Step 2: Admission decisions are based upon an applicant’s potential for academic success as determined by the student’s academic transcripts, GED scores, and letters of recommendation, if any. Therefore, in addition to the application and the application fee the following items must be submitted before an admissions decision can be made:

1) An official high school transcript of credits from the high school last attended or GED scores.
2) An official transcript from any college previously attended.

SUPPLEMENTAL ADMISSIONS MATERIALS

Letters of Recommendation should be sent directly from a former teacher, employer, colleague, or other individual that knows the character of the applicant and can speak to the prospective student’s ability to succeed in a college environment to admissions@Generations.edu or to:

Generations College
Attn: Admissions
29 East Madison Street, 2nd Floor
Chicago, IL 60602-4405

Once you have completed the application and submitted the application fee an admissions counselor will contact you to guide you through the rest of the application process. Upon acceptance students may choose to attend full-time or part-time and may choose up to two simultaneous programs of study, providing the student has been accepted into both programs.
