Meet our Program Directors

Dave Grassi, Director of Paralegal Studies

Mr. Grassi is an educator, attorney, and arbitrator. He earned an undergraduate degree in American History at the University of Michigan, a Master of Arts degree at DePaul University, and a Juris Doctor degree from Ohio Northern University. He has been practicing law for 25 years and is licensed in Michigan and Illinois. In addition to teaching a significant number of courses within the Paralegal and Criminal Justice Programs, he is an Arbitrator with the Cook County Arbitration Board, a trainer at Cook County Court Appointed Special Advocates Program, and was the former chief counsel for Paladin Health Care Consultants, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Jason Allen, Director of Court Reporting

Jason Allen has been involved with Court Reporting since he was 17 years old, and it continues to be a passion of his! As a student, building speed and learning theory came easily, but he has always preferred teaching over writing.  Jason was hired by the Court Reporting department where he had been a student. After almost two decades of experience, he embraces the opportunity to lead Generations’ program into the future and ensure our students receive the best possible education. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from SNHU with a Bachelor’s in English Language and Literature. Soon after he returned to SNHU and completed his MA in English with a perfect GPA and received the Distinguished Scholar Award. He was working a full-time job, as well as two part-time jobs while completing these degrees, so he understands the challenges faced by modern students.  He is also a proud member of NCRA, ILCRA, and Sigma Tau Delta.
