Transfer Opportunities and Articulation Agreements
Generations College is committed to providing students with seamless pathways to further their education. Our credits are transferable to many four-year institutions, allowing students to continue their academic journey with confidence. As a fully accredited institution by The Higher Learning Commission, Generations College has established articulation and transfer agreements with numerous colleges and universities to facilitate a smooth transition for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI)
Generations College participates in the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), a statewide college articulation agreement designed to ensure the transferability of the General Education Core Curriculum (GECC) between participating Illinois institutions. By completing the GECC at a participating college or university, students satisfy the lower-division general education requirements for an associate or bachelor’s degree, streamlining the transfer process.
This agreement applies to students entering an associate or baccalaureate degree-granting institution as first-time freshmen from Summer 1998 onward. For a full list of Illinois colleges and universities participating in articulation programs, visit www.iTransfer.org.
