As a subset of the Generations College Business Administration major, the artificial intelligence degree program educates students in foundational concepts, hands-on and project-based learning, and ethical concepts related to artificial intelligence, preparing graduates for successful AI-focused careers and advancement.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM GOALS:
The Generations College artificial intelligence associate degree is designed to help students understand the impact of generative AI across various industries today, and to consider its potential impact and opportunities in the coming years. To achieve this goal, the associate degree in artificial intelligence will:
- Offer a big-picture overview of the fundamental concepts, techniques, skills, and tools needed to enhance students’ potential future employability in careers working directly or indirectly with AI.
- Provide a solid foundation for students wishing to continue their AI-focused education at a four-year college or university.
- Explore how generative AI, prompt engineering, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP) impact various industries.
- Broaden student understanding of the potential economic impact of thoughtfully deployed artificial intelligence.

Students will demonstrate understanding of core AI concepts and apply them to real-world business scenarios in customer service, operations, and strategic decision-making.
Evaluate and Design Ethical, Inclusive, and Transparent AI Solutions
Students will assess the ethical, societal, and governance implications of AI including data bias, privacy, and equity and propose responsible implementation strategies within entrepreneurial and corporate settings.
Design Intelligent Business Systems and AI Transformation Plans
Students will create AI transformation strategies, including designing AI agents and systems that automate tasks, enhance productivity and streamline processes, as well as contribute to sustainable competitive advantage.
